Mean (x̄) = Ʃ x_i/n
= (0 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 5)/10
= 24/10
= 2.4
Median = ½ [10/2th + (10/2 + 1)th terms]
It can be written as
= ½ (5^th + 6^th) term
= ½ (2 + 3)
= 5/2
= 2.5
