(i) 2x2 – 7x + 6

(ii) 6x2 + 13x – 5

Answer :

(i) 2x2 – 7x + 6

2x2 – 4x – 3x + 6

Take out common in all terms we get,

2x(x – 2) – 3(x – 2)

(x – 2) (2x – 3)

(ii) 6x2 + 13x – 5

6x2 + 13x – 5

6x2 + 15x – 2x – 5

Take out common in all terms we get,

3x(2x + 5) – 1(2x + 5)

(2x + 5) (3x – 1)
