If tan 3x = sin 45° cos 45° + sin 30°, find the value of x.
Answer :
tan 3x = sin 45° cos 45° + sin 30°
= (1/√2 × 1/√2) + ½
= ½ + ½
= 1
tan 3x = tan 45°
3x = 45°
x = 45/3 = 15°
Hence, the value of x is 15°.
