Solve: (cosec θ – sin θ) (sec θ – cos θ) (tan θ + cot θ) = 1.

(i) \frac { (cos\theta -sin\theta )(1+tan\theta ) }{ 2{ cos }^{ 2 }\theta -1 } =sec\theta
(ii) (cosec θ – sin θ) (sec θ – cos θ) (tan θ + cot θ) = 1.

Solution:

(i) \frac { (cos\theta -sin\theta )(1+tan\theta ) }{ 2{ cos }^{ 2 }\theta -1 } =sec\theta
L.H.S = \frac { (cos\theta -sin\theta )(1+tan\theta ) }{ 2{ cos }^{ 2 }\theta -1 }
