Solve: sin A/(1 + cos A) = (1 – cos A)/sin A

(i) \frac { sinA }{ 1+cosA } =\frac { 1-cosA }{ sinA }
(ii) \frac { 1-{ tan }^{ 2 }A }{ { cot }^{ 2 }A-1 } ={ tan }^{ 2 }A
(iii) \frac { sinA }{ 1+cosA } =cosecA-cotA

Solution:

(i) \frac { sinA }{ 1+cosA } =\frac { 1-cosA }{ sinA }
L.H.S = \frac { sinA }{ 1+cosA }
(multiplying and dividing by (1 – cosA))
